Introduction : Peugeot 3008 GT Line AT 2018
3008 is itself a car featured in the crossover SUV segment for challenging the presence of Mercedes-Benz and BMW X 1 GLA. What kind of advantages it has to offer? When viewing the exterior part, we think this model identifies an SUV a true European. Stripes body firmly surround the whole interspersed with bodinya rims are alloy wheels measuring 18 inches, the main lamp LED, aggressive bumper design make this car has a thick accent is a typical European Sportier SUVS.
No need to linger, we direct the body resting on the driver's seat. Futuristic shades directly present at the space the Interior due to the presence of a full instrument display LCD, touch-screen infotainment system measuring 8 inches, infotainment system settings with the button. But the most unique is the circumference of the steering wheel design with a flat bottom and a flat top like a steering wheel to Formula 1.
Not only that, the instrument is also unique because we think this tool displays the counter clockwise engine rotation indicators such as Aston Martin.
Behind the futuristic cabin, this SUV is also there are some drawbacks. For our posture with a height 176 cm, if the steering arrangements adapted to the style of our drive, then the whole screen not instrument will be visible because of the square by the circumference of the wheel itself. But on the bright side, the body can lean on his seat.
In addition, the operation of the air conditioning the cabin Peugeot 3008 i.e. through screen infotainment touchscreen-operated. Of course it will be difficult when want to regulate cabin temperature while you are traveling. However, it is not the worst in the class.
However, you will forget all the flaws when already running this car. The Peugeot 3008 is able to provide excellent suspension dings. When devouring various contours of the streets like a bump and the car broke down, with 219 mm ground clearance is the suspension according to us very well.

But we found a weakness in performance. Peougeot 3008 provided by the engine capacity of 1,600 cc 4-cylinder turbo with pebbles while letting energy reaches 165 dk and 240 Nm of torque combined with automatic transmission 6 acceleration.
With the engine, the car was only able to record the acceleration 0 to 100 km/h in 10.4 seconds time. The figure is certainly less impressive if aligned with Volkswagen Tiguan. Manufacturer of Germany has a heavier weight than the Peugeot 3008 but with a smaller capacity engine thus producing a better acceleration figure.

Overview
Driving
Body roll is a little prominent in sharp turns and cuts but still manageable. Steering feels solid and decently precise during sudden serves from one lane to the other. There is a strong downward pitch upon braking hard as compared to other manufacturers who seem to have perfected this dilemma.
Interior
Though the vehicle could have been a little more spacious, it isn’t a huge deal breaker comfortably seating people over 6 feet. The toggles and switches however seem to be made of really cheap and flimsy material. One thing the 3008 really shines is the boot space with a whopping 591 liter capacity. That’s a lot of space for its segment.

- Massage seats. Come on. Imagine being stuck in traffic on your way to Sharjah while your car takes care of your back with gentle amounts of pressure being put here and there.
- Satin Chrome Toggle Switches that have a striking resemblance to a modern piano
Dislikes
- Engine is peculiarly loud for a car of its segment
- Build quality fails to impress. Some of the switches had already begun to wear off
- Given the 1.6 Liter output, the vehicle takes time to gain pick up on the highways as the torque just isn’t enough to compensate the lack of power
- The self park function seems quite buggy as it doesn’t seem to recognize parking spots in an entirely empty lot. You literally have to find a spot between two cars for it to work its magic
- Heavy use of plastics in the interiors
- No 4WD Option which can be quite a bummer
- Leg space could have been better
